How do I identiify the maker of a HO model Railroad locomotive (steam) if there is no marking?

I have 6 locomotives, 2 of which appear very old (1950s / 60s or before?) How can I identify these? Any websites??

1. antiques roadshow or look for pictures that look like yours online or you could always guess! :)
2. Check out your local train club. They will not only be able to tell you about your locomotives, but you might find some who want to buy them. If you aren't selling, at least you will have a value, you might want to insure them if the value is high enough.
3. Try looking in the library for a value guide.
