Built scale model trains for amusement parks?
Public Comments
- Are you speaking of something like a Cagney scaled live steamer used for amusement parks? The Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster, PA uses one along several other little parks around the country.
- Crown was well known for that. they built live steamers. There used to be a GREAT web site on park trains (parktrains.com), but like a lot of web sites, it got taken down, moved around, etc. You might want to search the web for "amusement park trains". Great site. I'm not sure, but I think it may all be here: http://www.trainweb.org/parktrains/
- Live Steamers? Ride on engines. Try http://www.discoverlivesteam.com/ http://www.livesteamlocomotives.com/ http://www.palivesteamers.org/ they run between $5000 & $30000 depending on size & prototype
