1. Are you speaking of something like a Cagney scaled live steamer used for amusement parks? The Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster, PA uses one along several other little parks around the country.
2. Crown was well known for that. they built live steamers. There used to be a GREAT web site on park trains (parktrains.com), but like a lot of web sites, it got taken down, moved around, etc. You might want to search the web for "amusement park trains".
